Two weeks to the day before the petition closes on 1st November, we invite you to join us aboard the beautiful Thames Venturer on Sunday 18th October between 12 & 3pm. Given how this historic 85 foot Dutch barge is both a floating environmental classroom and a community boat, it felt like the perfect venue to come together to protect this beautiful stretch of the Thames.
Above and below deck – as well as music, spoken word, arts, face painting, tea and pooh-cakes – we’ll be showcasing local creativity and history – all with the aim to celebrate and protect our homes, our lands and our river.
NB: We’ll be moored on the Ham side of the Teddington footbridge
(Please note that the Venturer is accessible, with ramp access and a an onboard hydraulic lift connecting the deck and the and lower deck.)
